Move-in Checklist
Your first month's rent and security deposit are both due at the lease signing. Please confirm the amount with us in advance to avoid any issues.
Our team will schedule your move-in date and initial inspection during the lease signing.
Please place all utility accounts in your name immediately after signing the lease. Remember, you'll need to keep these accounts current throughout the duration of your stay.
Move-out Checklist
Planning to move out at the end of your lease? Please provide us with written notice of your intent to vacate. Refer to your lease to determine the legal-move out date; remember, you are responsible for paying rent through this date.
Before handing in the keys for your rental, please be sure to take care of the following:
Rental Cleaning: Start by decluttering and packing away any personal belongings, followed by a thorough dusting of all surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and baseboards. Scrub the kitchen and bathroom thoroughly, including sinks, toilets, showers, and appliances, and make sure to clean all windows, blinds, and curtains. Sweep or vacuum all floors and carpets and mop hard surfaces.
Repairs: Start by inspecting the property for any damage, such as holes in the walls or broken appliances, and make a list of necessary repairs. Repair or replace any damaged items, such as doors, windows, or fixtures, and ensure that any wear and tear is fixed, such as repairing carpet stains or chipped paint.
After you move out of your rental, we return your security deposit, minus any deductions for damages or unpaid rent. We will provide an itemized list of deductions, including the amount withheld and the reason for each deduction.
If there are no damages or unpaid rent, the full deposit should be returned to you.
